Adam Angel Adam arrived at Mt. Rainier in 1999 to work as a climbing guide for Rainier Mountaineering, Inc. Guiding on Mt. Rainier launched an international climbing career with International Mountain Guides that takes him to Africa, Nepal, Tibet, Argentina, Alaska, and Mexico. While traveling for IMG, Adam began capturing images of the fantastic locations that he visited. “In the beginning I wanted to show people what we saw on expeditions and try to bring a little of the magic home to them. I soon realized that the real magic is in the humanity that you encounter while traveling the world. We are all climbing a mountain, that’s life. Lessons learned in the mountains helps us get the most out of every moment.” Today Adam Angel Photography revolves around people. It is a blend of images from around the world at large and an active studio and gallery. Adam is based in Historic Downtown Morton in the foothills of Mt. Rainier. Adam is a Certified Wilderness First Responder, a Professional Member of the American Mountain Guides Association, and a “Leave No Trace” Trainer. Adam’s dedication to and love for Mt. Rainier as well as his intimate knowledge of the mountain’s flanks give him a unique perspective as a photographer in the park. |

"I am fortunate to live in such a wild and beautiful place. Right amongst three magnificent peaks, Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Rainier, a lifetime of exploration is mere steps away. The facility that we are working on would be out of reach for me in most any other place in the country. Living here is like living on the frontier, we are pioneers, and our only limit is limited imagination." |
