Black and White Intensive

Demystify B&W conversions and printing techniques

A solid foundation is crucial to build anything of substance. Building photography skills is no different. You can save yourself years of expensive mistakes and frustration by learning how to make great digital captures from the start.

Our 2-day Black & White Intensive workshop covers the most popular methods for creating and printing Monochrome images. Demystify the many methods used to make the conversions and explore your printing options during this class. Maximize image quality through the use of channels, and color spaces, and minimize the loss of information when transforming color images into black & white. Ensure the best possible print quality, and develop the ability to create pristine digital black & white prints from your digital files. Students should have a basic understanding of their camera before they participate in this workshop and be familiar with Photoshop. This class also serves as an excellent Photoshop refresher.
